Taking inspiration from one of my favorite Texan childhood rituals, I invite you to our Lunada–moon gatherings–hosted on the North Fork of Long Island. Welcome to the Moon Bathing Sauna Society. We meet on the full moon. In the luxury of our own wood burning sauna and private stretch of water. Sea. Sauna. Salt. Moon. Dreamtime. Let go of what no longer serves you, detox down into your cells, connect to nature, each other, and the power of ritual. Moon Bathing gatherings take place on the full moon at wandering locations on the North Fork.
What you will experience
Intimate gathering
Our moon bathing sauna sessions gather a small collection of wonderful people, many of whom are cold water enthusiasts, and all deep appreciators of the natural splendor of the North Fork. Sauna sessions are limited to 6 people/ session.
Self-guided & communal ritual
Lunada gatherings offer the opportunity for cold water immersion in the sea, paired with immersion in the deep heat of our wood burning sauna. Moving between extreme temperatures is one of the oldest bathing rituals in the world, known to awaken, inspirit, detox, and spark dreamtime.
Guided immersions and Nordic bathing rituals
On certain moons, I will be leading you in guided water and fire rituals to connect us all to the power of these two elements,. As the founder of RewildRestore, nothing makes me happier than introducing people to water in a new way. You can also join me at Shou Sugi Ban House this January for a very special, and luxurious winter wellness retreat.
Spacious time to rest, awaken, release, dream
Rest, breathe, warm, awaken, release, make a friend, dream, listen to the sound of the sea, invite in deep warmth under the stars. Moon bathing evenings are scheduled generously so that there’s no need to rush, and plenty of space to let go. RewildRestore is about filling up, not about exhausting.

Cancellation policy
Deposits secure your spot on the trip and are not refundable, and non-transferable. Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing. For cancellation requests submitted with more than 90 days of retreat date: 100% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. For cancellations with more than 90 days, 50% of the amount (less deposit) will be refunded. For last minute cancellations (less than 90 days prior to start date of your retreat) any fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to the non-recoverable payments that we make in advance to various parties to plan these programs, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, travel bans, inclement weather, acts of terrorism, illness, health conditions, covid 19, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind.
Travel cancellation insurance Naturally, nobody books a retreat with the intention of canceling it, but unexpected events do happen, some of which are beyond our control. We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance to cover any possible loss.
Cancelled or postponed programs If we cancel or postpone the program for any reason, we will refund your full payment immediately. RewildRestore is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed retreat or training, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and any/all other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
