The Somatic Forest™
Discovery immersion
Aegean-Mediterranean Seas, Türkiye
September 25-30
A luxurious 6 nights, 7 days in the wild beauty where the forest meets the sea, and the legacy of the Goddess stirs the spirit. Led by Patricia Garcia-Gomez, creator of RewildRestore. Learn more about her transformative approach to water magic in this interview with YOLO Journal.
Join us in the luscious days of late summer for a very special discovery RewildRestore™. We invite you to fill up, listen, and be free in peaceful, wild beauty. We will meet a new magical water, nurture our water nature (the strongest, most sensual of all elements) and bathe amidst a forest of rare liquid amber trees.
The Somatic Forest™ is a sensory immersion in beauty, ancient stirrings, and the transformative power of water. We gather in ritual and elegant, untamed space. In our days together I will lead you in a transformative morning water practice as a way of getting into our body and strength, and bringing water’s magic into your cells. My water practice has become my ritual for attuning to my own rhythms, getting in my body, gathering strength and resiliency, calling myself back to myself, and listening for what wants to emerge. When we meet in the water, we also meet in a most wonderful friendship. I can’t wait to introduce you to it.
I am also very excited about our location’s Forest Sound Temple, crafted by Héctor Esrawe, where we will meet for restorative movement and practices that invite deep rest.
You will come away deeply nourished, slightly salty, with a new way of listening, and a joyful connection with water, ritual, self and each other.
Location A luxurious, secluded stretch of wild on the hidden shores of Günlüklü Bay, Türkiye, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet, and the legacy of the Goddess stirs the spirit.

What you will experience (included)
Daily immersion in the transformative power of water and ritual, led by Patricia
We will greet each day with a morning water ritual and swim. Each day will be different, and additive. I will reveal a new element of my water practice every day, weaving in meditation, movement and other elements to move us into our senses, bodies, and strength. If you are new to water, or perhaps not as comfortable as you’d like to be, wonderful. If you have are an advanced swimmer, also wonderful. The water loves us all. In the afternoons we will meet in our Forest Sound Temple or Yoga Pavilion for restorative yoga and sensory immersion.

Six nights surrounded by water, forest, and ancient dreams
In ancient Lycian language, Ahäma means beloved, and this is the spirit that runs through it. Our time at Ahãma is a quiet invitation to return to what we hold most dear—to what is beloved. Each of our private guest houses, reflects the calm of its surroundings. Natural textures like wood, stone, and linen meet soft, earthy tones drawn from the forest just beyond the door. Our gardens are abundant with wild herbs and flowers.
Beautiful meals shared with beautiful people
Great food makes great friends. A breakfast of the most delicious locally sourced ingredients will be provided for the entire retreat experience. Dinners take place around a single convivial table. Most evenings will be hosted under the stars at home, some will be out at local tavernas so you can soak up the culture of the island. For those interested in a custom wellness-focused menu (detox, inflammation, weight loss), a private consultation with nutritionist is available.
Adventures into place, including hikes and bathing in a wild, sacred forest.
We will take you to on an excursion to secret place to share the culture of this wondrous place with you, and actively explore the beauty of our location with hike(s) and other planned activities.
